This is an unbelievable and correct detailed scale model of the iconic Wembley towers cruelly demolished in the name of progress in 2003.
My Dad had a tear in his eye as these came tumbling down, not due to the fact that he was there for the 1948 Olympics or the 1966 World Cup but probably as he remembered the happy times losing his shirt on the Greyhound racing on a Friday night that took place in the seventies.
Wembley was a part of all our lives and these tower models do something to address their loss. Sold singularly or as a pair they need no further introduction. A must for any fan of sport or architecture.
I have seen some brilliant workmanship in my time but these models take the biscuit!
